Capacity by Salt Dose

No capacity-by-dose table published. SpringWell gives the 32,000-grain rating without the salt dose behind it. Softeners in our database that do publish one deliver well under half their top figure at the lowest dose. Why that matters.

Our Read

SpringWell is the brand most review sites rank first, and it pays affiliates 10–20%. Its spec table is clear on flow, tank size and plumbing. What’s missing is everything about salt: no dose, no efficiency and no certification. The prices shown are SpringWell’s store prices on the day we checked, with a higher regular price beside them.

Bottom line: A high-flow option for large homes, but you’re buying on maker figures alone. If certified efficiency matters, a listed unit or a Fleck 5600SXT configuration gives you more to check.

What We Couldn't Verify

  • Salt dose behind the 32K / 48K / 80K ratings.
  • Resin volume and crosslink.
  • Control valve make (owners in r/WaterTreatment discuss it; SpringWell's page doesn't say).
  • Performance in your home, which depends on your water chemistry and use. We haven't tested this system ourselves.
