Capacity by Salt Dose

No capacity-by-dose table published. SoftPro gives the 32,000-grain rating without the salt dose behind it. Softeners in our database that do publish one deliver well under half their top figure at the lowest dose. Why that matters.

Our Read

SoftPro is the house brand of Quality Water Treatment, which also publishes one of the more useful sizing guides online. The product claims are strong (upflow, 10% resin, “most efficient”), but the documents behind them are thin. The prices are the store’s sale prices; it also shows higher compare-at prices.

Bottom line: Worth a look for iron-prone well water if you’re comfortable buying on vendor claims. Ask for the salt-dose capacity table before you choose a size.
